Transmitters - telephone surveillance
Attach a transmitter anywhere along a phone line (a simple job that takes just 5 minutes). You then tune an FM radio
into the signal and you will hear exactly what both parties are saying.
They usually start transmitting only when the phone is used. If you have a radio/cassette you can even record the conversation
for future playback (a Telephone Recording Interface may also be used for this purpose).
They use a 2-transistor circuit with an RF transistor in the output stage to give a clear, stable signal. They draw their power
from the phone line so are completely maintenance free once installed.
They transmit to 300 metres plus in the open (further if receiver is near phone line)
Are suitable for use on any phone system worldwide
Require no aerial wire - uses phone line as antenna
Telephone surveillance data
can be received on a standard FM radio (Order Code 4051)
User adjustable transmitting frequency (just requires a small screwdriver)
Frequency Range: 88-108MHz approx.
Supply: draws it's low power requirements from phone line so no batteries needed
Board Dimensions: standard 20x45x8mm
Telephone call logger - telephone surveillance
This device records the start and stop time of ALL outgoing calls along with the number dialled (plus any other digits
pressed
during the call). It operates "stand alone" - no need for any connection to a PC. telephone surveillance.
Data is stored in non-volatile EEprom memory so there is no loss of data during power failures. The kit is normally
supplied with 16K of memory but is usually expandable in 16K blocks up to 64K total. The logger "auto detects" the amount of
available memory - just plug it in and go.
